We met during our first week of college at the University of Chicago while both living in May House and quickly became close friends. After a couple of years as friends, we wised up to what we had and started dating.

After graduating from the U of C, Beth moved back to Providence with Justin where she got her Master’s Degree in Teaching from Brown University while Justin started-up his own tech company specializing in payment processing technology. We also got an adorable King Charles Cavalier named Penny and an adorable fixer-upper of a house on the east side of Providence.

After managing to survive a year-long house construction project, Beth’s first year as a teacher, Justin’s business start-up, and a trip to Japan’s with Beth’s parents where they hiked Mount Fuji, we decided we could probably make it through anything! Justin proposed late one Saturday night in the house we built together.
